Romania has one of the lowest rates of early childhood education coverage in the EU. Interactive education and modern methods exist in a few private kindergartens, but are inaccessible to most families. That's the starting inequality that defines everything that follows.

What Parents Can Do Now

You can't reform the system from a distance, but you can do a few concrete things. Get involved in your school's parents association — collective voice matters. Look for interactive education resources online for home — there are excellent free platforms. Talk with your children about how the world works, not just about what needs to be memorized. Real education happens in conversations, not just in classrooms.
