CONTEMPORARY LITERARY JOURNAL

The journal on this site is not a news blog. These are notes written along the way: what was seen on a shoot, what did not make it into the book, what changed between the first and the tenth version of a text.

Many entries are raw material. A paragraph jotted down as a roadside observation has, sometimes years later, become a poem or a scene in a novel. The journal leaves visible the part that usually gets erased — the hesitations, the abandonments, the ideas that did not work.

It can be read in any order. If you only want the finished text, the books are in the shop, and excerpts from them are published separately.
